Whether a project is large or small, we work hard at seeing the best in each assignment that we accept and at producing images that show each project to it's best advantage. Scheduling to be there in the right light, choosing the best angles and utilizing the right equipment helps us achieve that goal. Our company name, Prime Images, Inc., reflects the idea that we create images … not just photos. Having the right equipment is tantamount to "creating images". Most of our assignment images are delivered as high resolution digital files on a CD or DVD. We also have an assortment of specialized panoramic cameras for those "long and wide" projects. See our frequently asked questions section for more information about equipment and digital image delivery. Back when Photoshop 1.0 was "cutting edge", David believed that by developing skills in digital imaging we could offer additional services to our clients. By attending advanced digital imaging courses at the Apple training center in New York, RIT in Rochester, NY, and various seminars around the country we have gained skills that enable us to retouch and composite images and prepare color correct digital files. David is available as a consultant for helping your company set up a digital asset management system. Photographing large projects often requires aerial work. If you didn't already guess it from the number of aviation and aerial images in his portfolio, this is David's passion. He is an aviation buff from way back and has worked hard at developing the expertise and acquiring the equipment to come away with those tack sharp aerial images. Low and close is his motto, using a Jet Ranger helicopter and a gyrostablizer to smooth out the vibrations We enjoy traveling throughout the United States and to many foreign countries on assignment. Sometimes we can combine assignments in a region for several clients and offer savings on travel expenses. In addition to custom assignment photography … we have a growing library of stock photography images available. Our studio is located in Palm Harbor, Florida. (A small coastal community just west of Tampa on Florida's Gulf Coast). Surrounding cities include Tampa, Clearwater, St Petersburg, Tarpon Springs, and Dunedin. We are about an hours drive from Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakeland and Orlando. Keeping current in the "digital age" is important. David is a member of The American Society of Media Photographers, the National Press Photographers Association, the International Association of Panoramic Photographers, and the North American Nature Photographs Association, |
