This unusual aerial of Tampa Florida was captured with a full fish eye 7mm lens which produces a round image with almost a 180 degree angle of view. While standing on the outside strut of a hovering Jet Ranger helicopter some 12,000 feet above the city, a camera attached to a pole was slowly lowered below the aircraft. It was necessary for the camera to be pointing straight down and completely below the helicopter so no part of the helicopter would be visible in the picture.
